Anna Silk

Anna Silk, born January 31st, 1974 in Fredericton, New Brunswick Canada, is a Canadian actress famous for her character Bo on the Showcase series Lost Girl. Silk was made by Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay Silk's parents are Peter Silk, an academic as well as Peter Silk, who was known as an accomplished actor and director. He was also a writer, teacher, and Director of Drama, St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna remembers some of the first moments in her childhood, like watching and participating in rehearsals of shows. Silk played a role as a young actress in commercials. She earned a Bachelors in Arts from St. Thomas University. Theatre St. Thomas has produced two plays during the beginning of her career: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk moved from Toronto in the month of November 1999 to Los Angeles California to pursue her acting career. Seth Cooperman became her husband in 2007 when they met at an Actors' Workshop at the Actors' Workshop in Los Angeles. They got engaged in 2009 and were married at the civil ceremony on took place in December. The couple renewed their vows on April 10, 2011 in Fredericton in the aftermath of Silk's converted to Judaism. Silk Cooperman was blessed with her son, Samuel Jerome Cooperman, in May of 2013. Levi Aaron, Silk's second baby boy was born in May of 2016. Silk is a variety of roles on television, among them Cassidy Holland from Being Erica. Silk was nominated for a Gemini Award in 2009 to play this character. She landed a principal role in the role of Bo Dennis, a succubus as seen as Bo Dennis in Lost Girl. Silk was pregnant during filming of season three's finale, and revealed this to viewers in Showcase's Season Three Pre-Show Special on 6 January 2013. Silk confirmed via Twitter on June 20th 2013 that the show was coming back to its production. Season Four premiered on June 4, 2013 with Showcase and Prodigy Pictures. Silk's portrayal of Bo along with Lauren (Zoie Palmer) as same-sex lovers in the show Lost Girl was named one of the most popular Television Couples by CNN (Cable News Network) and declared Top TV Couple of 2013 by E! Entertainment Television. Silk, as a result its growing popularity on social networks has earned it a large online following.
